Join us in support of all our programs. You will assure Young@Heart’s future and allow us to:
Provide free twice-weekly full ensemble open rehearsals for the elderly
Perform local, national, and international shows
Grow our “PrisonVision” program presenting free weekly rehearsals and concerts with the incarcerated
Present our annual “Mash-Up” series -- Y@H with nationally acclaimed youth performance groups
In 2018, we are establishing the Fred Knittle Fund for Young@Heart. Former Young@Heart member Fred Knittle (1925-2009) enchanted millions of fans with his stirring rendition of Coldplay’s “Fix You,” and he epitomized our belief that “the show must go on” even in the face of physical and personal challenges. Fred was an enthusiastic advocate of the fundraising (or what he liked to call “Friendraising”) that supports Young@Heart’s mission to ensure that advanced age is never an obstacle to making great music. A gift to The Fred Knittle Fund honors Fred’s memory and helps Young@Heart keep the music going for years to come.
Thank you for helping us make the next thirty-five years as exciting as the last. Young at Heart Chorus, Inc is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
