The Fred Knittle Fund

In 2018, we established The Fred Knittle Fund for Young@Heart. Former Young@Heart member Fred Knittle (1925-2009) enchanted millions of fans with his stirring rendition of Coldplay’s “Fix You,” and he epitomized our belief that “the show must go on” even in the face of physical and personal challenges. Fred was an enthusiastic advocate of the fundraising (or what he liked to call “Friendraising”) that supports Young@Heart’s mission to ensure that advanced age is never an obstacle to making great music. A gift to The Fred Knittle Fund honors Fred’s memory and helps Young@Heart keep the music going for years to come. Thank you for helping to make a lasting impact on the Young@Heart. Young at Heart Chorus, Inc is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
