In Memory of Evelyn Harris (1950-2025)
Young@Heart is grieving the sudden and unexpected passing of our amazing singer Evelyn Harris. This was even more shocking to us because just 24 hours before receiving the news she was at our Monday morning rehearsal, where she sang, joked and seemed to be in good health and great spirits.
We have written a tribute to Evelyn, which you can read here.
VIRTUAL SHOW 10-Alarm Fire: We Won’t Shut Up!
The online premiere of our concert film “10-Alarm Fire: We Won’t Shut Up!!” is happening on Saturday January 24, 2026 at 7:30PM EST. This has been rescheduled from its original airing date, Saturday 20 December, because of the sudden passing of our beloved chorus member Evelyn Harris.
This performance is our last performance with Evelyn Harris and it reflects her activist spirit, dating back to her student days at Howard. It’s an urgent look at what we are facing in our current reality, especially for people over 75. Expect to hear songs from Woody Guthrie, Marvin Gaye, Creedence Clearwater, Mercedes Sosa and many others!

INTRODUCING THE YOUNG@HEART FAN CLUB
Introducing the Young@Heart Fan Club, a new way to support Y@H!
This isn't just a fan club; it's a critical lifeline for our chorus, and we need your immediate support! For over 42 years, Young@Heart has defied expectations and spread joy worldwide. However, we're now at a crucial moment.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ticket sales, sponsorships, local business advertisements, and grants contribute to our operations, but they are not able to sustain our mission. The truth is that we rely heavily on the generous support of our dedicated fans to keep this organization afloat. Your donations are not just appreciated; they are how we survive and give us the ability to bring impactful performances to our fans. Your immediate and ongoing contribution is vital. The size of your contribution does not matter, it could be as simple as you donating the cost of two cups of coffee a month!
